Focus Foundation Stories Behind The Impact Thumbnail

The Human Stories Behind Our Impact

Statistics can show the scale of change, but they can never tell the whole story. The true difference made by Focus Foundation is best understood by listening to the charities and people at the heart of the communities we support.

Through their words, experiences and stories, discover how funding, partnerships and community support have helped their organisations overcome challenges, reach more people and continue delivering vital services.

Hear directly from charities and explore the real stories behind the numbers through our videos and case studies.

Burgess Hill Pantry Case Study: Building Community Beyond the Food Bank

Burgess Hill Pantry is more than a place to access affordable food. It is a welcoming community hub where people facing financial hardship can find choice, dignity and practical support.

Focus Foundation has awarded the Pantry two grants totalling £2,499.75. This included £1,500 for a double-fronted glass freezer, increasing food-storage capacity while allowing members to choose items for themselves, and a £999.75 small grant to provide festive treats for local individuals and families experiencing hardship.

Our support has also gone beyond funding. When the Pantry needed to relocate, we helped bring local businesses and professionals together to transform its new home in the heart of Burgess Hill.
