Our Grant Application Process

We are committed to making our grants process clear, straightforward, and transparent. From your initial application through to funding decisions, our team is here to support you every step of the way and build meaningful relationships with the charities we work alongside.

Step 1: Create an Account

Register for an account to begin your application.

Step 2: Submit an Expression of Interest

Complete our short initial form, which takes around 20 minutes. We’ll respond within one month.

Step 3: Submit a Grant Application

If your project aligns with our funding objectives, we’ll invite you to submit a full application. This takes approximately two hours to complete, and we aim to respond within eight weeks.

Step 4: Grant Committee Review

Successful applications will be considered at the next available Grant Committee Meeting.

Step 5: Recieve Feedback and Further Support

We provide feedback on every application, regardless of the outcome. If funding isn’t awarded, we may still be able to help through introductions to other not-for-profit organisations, volunteer support or practical resources.

Our Portal Is Currently Closed for Applications

Charities that have not previously received funding from Focus Foundation may submit applications via the portal, which will be linked on this webpage from the 7th September 2026.
