GASP Motor Project

GASP Motor Project (GASP) is a small, dynamic charity based near Guildford. We deliver vocational training in motor mechanics and engineering to vulnerable and disadvantaged young people.
Most of our beneficiaries are aged 14-16. They arrive at GASP with low self-esteem, lacking confidence. Most have found that mainstream education does not work for them. Already at this young age they feel that they they are failures. Many have additional educational needs, many have been excluded from school.
GASP turns these young lives around. Our expert tutors deliver a comprehensive, bespoke curriculum. Our youngsters learn practical skills, gaining qualifications to take them forwards to more purposeful lives, leading to realistic employment opportunities and careers in the motor industry.
